Intel has added two new faces to its channel marketing and accounts team.
The vendor has promoted Garry Cheung to the role of channel account manager. For the last two years, Cheung has managed Intel's IT operations in Australia, and was previously an IT field engineer and rollout technician with the NSW Attorney General's department.
It has also hired Claudine Pache to look after channel marketing programs. Prior to joining Intel, Pache worked with Telstra as an advertising manager, and Lexmark as corporate strategies marketing manager.
Intel national sales manager for its reseller channel organisation, Thomas Tapsas, said Cheung's first point of focus was to strengthen contact with Intel's partners in Victoria, SA and NZ.
"Cheung will assist the channel in ramping our 45nm processor technology across desktop, server and mobile products," Tapsas said.
Pache's role, meanwhile, is to manage joint marketing initiatives within the reseller channel organisation, he said.
