Toshiba Satellite X200

This consumer notebook features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor T7800 running at 2.6GHz. The X200 has two 200GB SATA hard drives, a high-definition DVD-ROM drive, Intel High Definition Audio and six 2.0 USB ports. Users have a number of security options including an integrated biometrics fingerprint reader, Kensington cable lock slot and wireless LAN switch. The Satellite X200 has several connectivity options including Intel 802.11 (a/g/n) wireless networking, Ethernet, and a V.92 data model and fax. It weighs 3.8kg and has a 17-inch 1680 x 1050 widescreen display. Toshiba claims the X200's SLI graphics and 2 x 256MB of discrete video memory also make the notebook suitable for entertainment applications.

Mediagate MG450HD

The MG450HD wireless media player features HDMI and SATA support and delivers 1080p high-definition viewing through the user's TV. The device offers 5.1 surround sound for audio systems with SPDIF digital audio out and is compatible with a range of file formats including MPEG 1,2 and 4, Xvid, MP3, OGG Vorbis, JPEG, BMP, GIF and PNG. The MG450HD supports Internet radio and uPnP, features IEEE 802.11b/g wireless connectivity with WPA/WEP encryption, and uses 10/100M LAN for file streaming. It also has composite, component and S-Video outputs, and supports stereo and digital coaxial sound.

Logitech Squeezebox

This network music system allows users to access their music collection in any room of their home. The Squeezebox has a full-colour LCD screen controller and compact receiver that enable users to wirelessly browse, select and play digital music from stereo speakers. As well as accessing their personal digital music collection, users can tune into Internet radio and subscription services. Music can be accessed by artist, album, playlist, or genre, while the 2.4-inch screen displays album art. The Squeezebox player has built-in 802.11g wireless connectivity and an Ethernet port. Multiple receivers can be managed by a controller. Logitech's SqueezeNetwork service also allows users direct access to their music from any location with an Internet connection.

Mitsubishi HL650U

Mitsubishi's latest projector features Super Extended Graphics Array (SXGA+) and projects images at 1400 x 1050 native resolution. With a brightness of 3100 lumens, the HL650U is designed for presentations in large or well-lit rooms. The projector uses inorganic C2 fine LCD panels, which Mitsubishi claims have twice the service life of organic orientation film. Uniform colour technologies such as sRGB and 3D Colour improve the quality of the displayed image. The HL650U's wall colour support maintains image quality when projecting images on coloured surfaces. It runs at a noise level of 29dBA. The lamp is designed to last up to 5000 hours in low mode.

Secure Computing SafeWord 2008

SafeWord 2008 is the latest version of Secure Computing's two-factor authentication software. The toolkit protects information running over Citrix applications, virtual private networks, Web applications and Outlook Web Access. SafeWord 2008 is designed for 64-bit Windows environments, such as Vista and Windows 2008 server, and integrates with Microsoft Active Directory. Secure Computing claims its solution is easy to install and use and helps companies deploy token-based two-factor authentication at lower costs. Designed to verify a user's identity before enabling network access, SafeWord 2008 includes licenses, tokens, and first-year support. Secure Computing is also offering an add-on Enterprise Solution Pack featuring SecureWire Access Gateway. This zero-footprint SSL VPN enables companies to make applications, data and network connectivity available to employees, contractors, business partners and customers. It is bundled with additional applications designed to improve productivity, security and compliance, such as the Enterprise Solution that turns a user's mobile device into a two-factor authenticator. SafeWord 2008 will run on an organisation's existing infrastructure and comes with a lifetime token warranty.
