Lenovo teams trek in tough terrain

Several Lenovo staff donned their best walking shoes to participate in this year's Oxfam Trailwalker race.

The walkers split into four teams - The Bosses, The Gump Four, Dragons and The Kilted Chaffers - to trek through 100km of Australian bush in less than 48 hours.

They started at Chowder Bay in Sydney Harbour and faced tough terrain as they neared the finishing lines at Brooklyn in the Hawkesbury region.

The Gump Four and The Kilted Chaffers were forced to pair up after one team lost two members due to injury. Despite their efforts, The Bosses were the first over the line, clocking up a time of 25 hours and 11 minutes.

Ten out of the 13 Lenovo participants managed to finish the race, and raised $17,680 in funds for Oxfam.

Overall, 502 trail teams walked the challenging track to raise over $2 million.t
