NetApp Appoints Thomas Dooner as Distribution Manager A/NZ

<p>AUSTRALIA, Sydney — 5 December 2007 –- Network Appliance, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTAP), a leader in advanced network storage solutions, today announced the promotion of Thomas Dooner to the role of Distribution Manager for Australia and New Zealand.</p>
<p>In his new role, Dooner is responsible for managing the company’s distribution relationship in Australia and New Zealand. This includes managing and driving the day-to-day business engagement with SAN Systems, the NetApp distribution partner in Australia, and Value Added Distributors, the NetApp New Zealand distribution partner. Dooner is also charged with increasing brand awareness and availability of NetApp products across a broad number of resellers.</p>
<p>Prior to this role, and since he joined the company in 2006, Dooner was IBM Alliance Manager for NetApp A/NZ.</p>
<p>Dooner brings to his new role more than 20 years of experience working with large corporates such as Ford, AT&amp;T and Cisco, where he has held various positions supporting sales and channel teams with innovative financing solutions.</p>

<p>Dooner’s appointment is effective immediately.</p>
