LANSA Japan Recognizes Customer and Partner Success

<p>Leading Japanese Partners and Customers visit LANSA R&amp;D Center in Sydney</p>
<p>Sydney, Australia — November 13, 2007 — A delegation of Japanese business partners and customers is visiting Sydney to exchange ideas and skills with members of LANSA’s Research and Development Center in Sydney and for the presentation of annual customer and partner awards.</p>
<p>The LANSA Japan Skills Forum is an annual event and illustrative of LANSA’s strength in Japan. The three-day program, which commenced on Monday 12 November, consists of presentations and an informal exchange of information and ideas.</p>
<p>At the event LANSA Japan also announced its annual awards for customers and partners who have demonstrated innovative use of LANSA technology or have achieved major benefits for their organization with LANSA. This year’s winners are Yachiyo Industries, Oriental Diamond and Tokai Information System Consultation (TISC). Also attending the 2007 forum are Nippon Dynamic Systems, TV Tokyo Systems, i Magazine Japan and elook Solutions.</p>
<p>Over 1,100 companies in Japan use LANSA-based software solutions or LANSA tools for application development, business integration and eBusiness extensions. These include BMW Tokyo, Canon Sales, Epson Sales, Isuzu, Itochu Aviation, Kanematsu, Kao, Kawasaki Heavy Industry, Matsushita Electric Industries, New Japan Radio, JVC, Nippon Express, NIASCO, NTT Data Sanyo System Corp, Panasonic Communications, Pioneer Display Products, Porsche Japan, Ricoh, Sanyo Electronics, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp (SMBC), TDK, Tokai Rubber, TV Tokyo and Yanmar.</p>
<p>LANSA activities in Japan are coordinated by LANSA Japan Limited, based in Koto-ku, Tokyo, who provides consultancy, support and education services to assist its partners and customers make the best use of LANSA.</p>
<p>Mr Nakamura, vice-president of operations for LANSA Japan, commented, “The forum provides an excellent opportunity for our partners and customers to see LANSA’s continued innovation and investment in R&amp;D. LANSA’s stable ownership and the long-term mutual understanding and trust between our customers, partners and LANSA as an organization remain major contributors to LANSA’s success in Japan.”</p>
<p>LANSA Japan also organizes regular meetings and forums for partners and customers in Japan, but the yearly meeting in Sydney provides an excellent opportunity for Japanese organizations to meet with the Sydney-based LANSA R&amp;D team.</p>
