After Hours: interview with Techplus Distribution managing director, Paul Kern

MY FAVOURITE BOOK OR MOVIE ... Lord of the Rings was a great book. It was one of those titles I had intended to read for years, but it was only when the movie was about to be released that I finally got around to it and couldn't put it down.

IF I COULD GO ANYWHERE ... I have never been to Europe and would love to immerse myself in a place and culture that is so much more ancient than we have here in Australia.

IF I WASN'T DOING THIS JOB ... I would have liked to be a pilot. Not sure I would like the hours, or being able to deal with the way you have to work your way up the ranks, but I would love the flying bit.

THE PERSON I MOST ADMIRE ... I once worked for Rod Bass who had a fantastic attitude to life. He always tried to take a positive outlook on everything and every opportunity that came his way, and he didn't let things he couldn't change concern him. He also said "Work To Live Don't Live to Work". I admire his simple philosophy and attitude.

I REALLY HATE ... Inconsiderate people because we all have lives to live and places to be. Most of us manage to do this without negatively affecting others but some people think the world revolves around them and as such will do what they want without thought for others. That really annoys me.
