It can be hard to keep up with the pace of technological innovation - unless you are talking computer mice. The basic shape of the device that changed computing has remained largely static for almost 20 years, often to the detriment of those who constantly use a computer. F1 Computing Services is hoping to change all that. The company is distributing the Evoluent VerticalMouse, an ergonomic device with an upright surface that supports the hand and forearm in a neutral, relaxed handshake position. The optical device also has five programmable buttons for common tasks.
The VerticalMouse was showcased at the recent Comdex tradeshow in Las Vegas, is available immediately, and carries a recommended retail price of $119.95.
