Ericsson W25

This fixed wireless terminal (FWT) enables users to gain access to high-speed broadband, phone and fax services without being limited by the availability of a wired infrastructure. Unlike its W20 predecessor, which was limited to the GSM network, the W25 offers wireless users voice, fax and broadband Internet communication via the high-speed 3G HSDPA network. According to the vendor, the maximum download speed is currently 3.6Mbps. However, users can look forward to download speeds of up to 7.2Mbps once the 3G network is running at full capacity. Users can slot in a data-enabled SIM card, plug in any telephone unit using the standard plug and can expect to experience crisp voice quality equivalent to that of a landline telephone service. Pro-Q Motion Tracking Webcam

Featuring sophisticated tracking motors, this webcam allows users to move around their environment and still engage in Internet communication. The lens of the webcam can rotate 180 degrees horizontally and 60 degrees vertical meaning it will track and transmit all animations. The new switch - part of the HP B-Series portfolio - is customised by HP and sold as the HP StorageWorks 4/32B SAN Switch. The high-performance 4Gbps switch is packaged in a compact 1U form factor with ports-on-demand capabilities to enable scaling from 16-32 ports. It allows non-disruptive expansion of existing SAN fabrics with existing management tools that enhance fabric-wide performance. According to Brocade, the 5000 switch consumes up to 76 per cent less power than competing models in its class. Kingston 8GB DataTraveler II Plus

This USB flash drive features data synchronization software from Migo, which allows users to work on multiple PCs in different locations, using the contents of their own desktop's email, Internet settings, favourites, cookies and history, plus files and folders. Upon return to the user's host PC, Migo synchronises the files and settings to keep data current. The password-protected drive also allows users to view their desktop and access data on almost any guest PC. The drives features universal mail format allowing users to access email among different clients such as Windows Mail, Outlook, and Outlook Express. Epson Stylus CX5500

Aimed at home and small business users, this machine features Epson's improved Durabrite Ultra ink for glossier photos and sharper text printing. The ink is resistant to smudging, fading and water and has up to 120 years light fastness, according to Epsom. The device gives users the choice of standard or low-cost individual colour Intellidge ink cartridges. By replacing only the ink cartridge that has been used, it provides users with an economical printing solution. Embedded with Epson's Resolution Performance Management (RPM) technology, the Stylus CX5500 is capable of printing at up to 5760 optimised dpi, generating images and text with quality detail and accuracy. Variable Sized Droplet technology (VSDT) along with Epson's MicroPiezo print head produces medium sized dots for placing solid colour quickly and finer dots for areas of gradation and blending, increasing the print speed. The machine has print speeds of up to 25ppm and True BorderFree printing is available in A4, 4x6 and 5x7-inch sizes when used in conjunction with Epson paper. The CX5500 contains a 600 x 1200dpi scanner with Charge-Coupled Device (CCD) technology to achieve accurate colour scanning of photographs and colour documents. With a pixel depth of 48-bit input and 24-bit output, it produces quality levels of accuracy. Auto Skew Adjustment software adds to the ease of use by automatically detecting if a photo or document has not been placed straight and automatically adjusting it. In addition, it features Epson PhotoEnhance software so users can produce their own images. It ensures common problems like shadowed faces, backlit images and dull colouring are corrected. The device is also capable of PC-free copying, and comes with Epson Creativity Suite which includes utilities to simplify tasks such as Web printing. The Fit-To-Page utility can detect original document sizes, adjusting the zoom according to the paper's printable areas, therefore eliminating the need for cropping when scanning and printing.
