NetComm has signed a deal to supply broadband communications equipment to ISP, Netspace.
ADSL products ranging from the NB1300 ADSL modem to routers, network cards and equipment for wireless networking will be provided.
Built-in security features for protecting the wider network as well as individual users were identified by Netspace as among the key reasons for its selection of NetComm.
NetComm managing director, David Stewart, said the deal would initially represent additional annual sales of about $2 million with potential for higher numbers based on the projected growth of Netspace’s ADSL business.
Netspace managing director, Stuart Marburg, said the deal went ahead after technical development and testing in accordance with Netspace’s strict network specifications was undertaken.
“Broadband is at the core of our business moving forward and we took every precaution to ensure that we partnered with the best possible technology developer,” he said.
