Victorian components distributor, Australia IT, has signed a deal with Taiwan-based gaming case vendor, NZXT.
Australia IT business development manager, David Wilson, said it was looking for a good gaming case and the NZXT range fitted in quite well.
"We also provide Cooler Master cases and they have some high-end gaming options with the Centurion 5, which are popular, but they don't have a case which appeals to gamers in terms of stylistic presentation," he said.
"We certainly feel like they are filling a niche that we didn't cater for and we are very surprised by the uptake of them."
At the moment, Australia IT has brought in four cases with its first shipment including Hush, Lexa, Zero and Apollo, which features a steel chassis, two 120mm fans and support for FireWire and Intel HD.
Wilson said even though Australia IT had the option of accessing the full range of NZXT product, he would only be focusing on the latest models.
"We have tested the water with the first range and three of them have sold out within three days," he said. "These cases are very much targeted towards the gamer market and are quite out there with blue LEDs and open sides."
