ARN interviews RAD Data Communications managing director, Udi Furman.
MY FAVOURITE BOOK OR MOVIE...I recently watched Crocodile Dundee with the kids after a trip to NT which was great fun. Movies are an escape so anything besides science fiction goes well with me. With books I'm mainly into real-life stories preferably about Israel. It is such a young country and there are great stories about its history, survival and creation.
IF I COULD GO ANYWHERE...Australia is our second relocation after spending three years in Germany. It's the best combination: skiing in Europe (and watching soccer) and enjoying the beautiful beaches of Australia.
IF I WASN'T DOING THIS JOB...I would have probably done it at another company. I also love the stock market. Everyone should have some sort of gambling or adrenaline fix.
THE PEOPLE I MOST ADMIRE...are my kids. They arrived in Australia four years ago and today I can proudly say they are the top students in their class. They have managed to integrate in such a short time and filled the gap in many areas such as reading. I also like optimistic people who look on the bright side of things and always push further.
I REALLY HATE...Vegemite. I love Australia, but seriously! I also hate the efficiency of parking officers - I have never seen sales managers in my industry reach their targets so quickly.
