SAP specialist, Consulting Principles, has joined an international network of SAP solution providers that hopes to boost opportunities globally for its members.
Consulting Principles national sales and marketing manager, Paul Roddis, said the partnership would give the consultancy a greater chance at winning global rollouts, shared services centre and transportation/logistics deals.
"We play squarely in the warehouse, logistics and transportation arena. This partnership enables CP to bring some scale and international experiences to the local market as we strengthen our depth and coverage," Roddis said. "Low cost offshore resources have become a standard part of today's IT market. This gives us, a small Australian player, the opportunity to develop an offering in this space."
The NSW-based service provider joins six other SAP resellers in the network, dubbed Axon International. The network was headed by UK-based Axon, which serves large SAP customers, many of which had an Asia-Pacific presence, Roddis said.
"This partnership enables Consulting Principles to serve as the local rollout partner for those customers in Australia. This also enables Axon to offer true global coverage, essentially by having us cover this region for them," Roddis said.
Axon CEO, Steve Cardell, said in a statement that the company wanted to be the top global SAP-enabled business transformation consultancy.
"Axon International is a key enabler. It allows us to expand the number of high quality SAP consultants we can efficiently deliver into our major global programs," he said.
It also opened partnership opportunities in a host of new markets, Cardell added.
Axon planned to grow the network further in coming months, he said.
Consulting Principles remains a privately-owned company.
