Actiontec receives APlus

New cases aimed at gaming and D-I-Y market

Niche power supply distributor, Actiontec, has added APlus gaming cases to its portfolio.

Actiontec director, Nikol Su, said the cases fitted in with its range of power supplies, which he would consider offering as a bundled solution.

Actiontec currently distributes Tagan power supplies.

The distributor is offering the ElDiablo Super Tower from the APlus range, which is 100 per cent scratch-proof and comes equipped with two 250mm fans on the front and side of the tower. It will retail for $160.

Su said he would consider expanding its offering of APlus cases, but that would depend on market demand.

The case would be aimed at the D-I-Y and gaming market.

Su said he would target online dealers and D-I-Y type retailers to take the case to market.

"We have a few hundred dealers on our list and we want to expand our base. What we are offering is not everyone's cup of tea, so we only want dealers that are interested in providing high-end cases," he said.

"We will also be doing more marketing activities and offer discounts to our partners."
