Born to be wild

Introducing D Troop, a band formed by Data#3 staff to raise funds for people with cerebral palsy. The band of corporate rockers made a one-off special performance at the Conrad Treasury Boardroom Blitz music event this month. The concert aimed to raise funds for the Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland and attracted more than 1000 concert goers.

"The challenge to play in this event was too good to resist," D Troop's rhythm guitarist and Data#3 Queensland manager, Michael Bowser, said. "While the concert was lots of fun, there is a more serious side to the Boardroom Blitz event. We were raising funds to support the great work of the Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland which assists those with this condition to reach their goals in life." The band's set list included such classics as Sweet Home Alabama, Born to be Wild, and Bad Moon Rising.
