Australian services company UXC is set to launch a new business unit called e.prise offering specialist expertise in performance management and the Oracle and Hyperion BI platform.
UXC Performance Management, which is part of the UXC Business Solutions Group (BSG), was launched in January this year.
Divisions include e.fab, e.bi and e.sens which provide expertise in Cognos, Business Objects and SAS.
UXC Performance Management CEO, Stephen Mackley, said the division has grown rapidly since its launch at the start of the year.
For example, Mackley said staff have increased from 40 to 60 with a further 20 staff coming on board by year's end.
"We anticipate over 100 people by the end of this 2008 financial year," he said.
BSG CEO, Cris Nicolli, said the e.prise launch extends the company's capability in BI and performance management covering all the major platforms.
Nicolli said the company has had a record year winning a string of ffederal government contracts.
As a result, he said the company revised its forecast revenue to mid $400 million (up from $350 to $380 million).
UXC will release its full year (FY07) financial results on August 23, 2007.
