Distributor wants to increase customer interaction

Melbourne-based peripherals distributor, Anyware Computer Accessories, has made internal changes to lighten the load on senior management.

Patrick Managreve has been promoted to NSW and Queensland operations manager. With the company for more than five years, he was previously NSW branch manager. His promotion will see joint managing director, Victor Lee, step back from daily operations.

David Young has been promoted to Victorian branch manager, replacing Michael Slovak.

Managing director, Garrison Huang, said the appointment would take some responsibility from his plate. Young was previously the distributor's Aten product manager.

Anyware also hired former BenQ staffer, Michelle Rachow, for a newly created role as Perth business development manager.

Over the past year, the accessories distributor has experienced more than 25 per cent growth, according to Huang.

"We have added more sales resources into the organisation and have certainly enjoyed some good return from this change in business strategy," Huang said. "Our marketing tools had become a bottleneck and we needed to increase our customer interaction in order to grow."

Anyware is searching for more staff, including one for its Adelaide branch
