Two local Microsoft partners were in the limelight at the software giant's 2007 Worldwide Partner Conference in Denver, Colorado, last month.
Dimension Data scooped up two awards - Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Active Directory and Identity Management Partner of the Year; and Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Exchange Migration and Deployment Partner of the Year. CEO, Steve Nola, said he was proud of the company's deep understanding of Microsoft technologies and its ability to enhance them.
"In addition, our focus around the Microsoft infrastructure and unified communications space is bearing fruit," he said. "The two global awards, chosen from a worldwide pool of more than 1800 entrants, are testament to our consultants' commitment to client satisfaction." Dimension Data was also a finalist for another two awards.
"Dimension Data created a solution for the VoIP world that offers a unique way to connect Microsoft and Cisco through Active Directory and Identity Lifecycle Manager. The solution could apply to several different types of organisations and adds significant value to the customers," Microsoft vice-president enterprise partner sales, Peter Boit, said.
For its third consecutive year, Eclipse Computing won the 2007 Microsoft Dynamics Partner of the Year for APAC.
"We have made a considerable commitment to the ongoing development and success of Microsoft Business Solutions within Eclipse and we will continue to work closely with Microsoft to provide superior business solutions for our customers with our unique level of service," Eclipse CEO, Bradley Stroop, said.
