The theming of this year's Toshiba TargetBusters channel event for Australia and New Zealand as 'Xtreme' may well have been right on the money.

Business development, teamwork and fun may have originally been on the cards, but cabin fever and flight delays caused by foul weather in Queenstown, New Zealand, certainly weren't.

Toshiba marketing manger, Annette Horst, said that despite the 150-odd attendees being snowed in for an extra day with flights open one minute and closed the next, an extra day's rest and relaxation at a very obliging hotel didn't do anybody any harm.

Horst said everything but the weather went to plan, with the highlight of the event being the gala awards dinner finale at which the Toshiba Five-Star Reseller of the Year, Distributor of the Year, Retailer of the Year and Channel Partner and Sales Person of the Year were awarded, region by region.
