Oki C3530MFP

Oki Printing Solutions has updated its A4 colour MFP range with the new cost-effective C3530MFP. The network-ready product integrates printing, copying, scanning and faxing for small work teams and individuals, giving more businesses the chance to benefit from the document management features of an MFP. Oki claimed the compact printer is the fastest in its class at 16 pages-per-minute (ppm) colour and 20ppm mono, with a monthly duty cycle of up to 60,000 pages. Its ability to handle a wide range of media means more print jobs can be completed in-house, including the production of banners, business cards and CD labels. Its built-in 128MB of memory helps with these high volume or media intensive jobs. The C3530MFP features direct network connection for printing and scanning as well as document sharing programs, Nuance PaperPort and Omnipage OCR, included as standard.

The CLX-2160 is the world's smallest colour laser multifunction printer (MFP), according to the vendor, and is designed specifically for the desktop. It delivers precision colour printing, digital copying and high-resolution scanning functions in a compact device ideal for space-constrained small office and home office environments. All of the consumables are interchangeable across five different Samsung printer models. The printer also features Samsung's patented NO-NOIS engine technology that significantly contributes to the unit's low-noise operation and small size. It delivers quiet colour MFP functionality with the form-factor of a monochrome MFP.

Kyocera FS-2000D

This new generation workgroup printer offers double-sided printing as standard. When configured with the optional network interface, it can handle a growing workgroup and supports a wide range of paper types and formats. Low noise, compact design and cost-effective Ecosys technology give users space to think about the bigger picture, Kyocera claimed. Platform-wise, the FS-2000D offers USB, parallel and network. Its single platform technology means that the same driver can be used for every Kyocera PCL/PostScript print device on the network; from single-user desktop printers to high-end multifunctional systems. With the Kyocera page design and control language Prescribe IIe, complex graphics, logos and forms (even multipart forms) can be created independently of the system and saved and updated in the printer. This means files are only accessed as required, therefore relieving the load on the network.
Distributed by Ingram Micro, Dynamic Supplies and Alloys International.
