Aurion keeps time & supports the not-for-profit sector

 • 10 July, 2007 11:28

Some of the nation’s foremost community and disability care providers are finding themselves on the receiving end of extra special care and support from enterprise Human Resources Management (HRM) solutions provider, Aurion.

First they are benefiting from using Aurion’s payroll and HR systems. And now they are enjoying Aurion sponsorships.

Aurion has sponsored a car for BlueCare, one of Australia’s largest providers of community health and residential aged care, that enables Blue Care nurses to reach the community.

The software company’s latest ‘adventure’ is with the Endeavour Foundation. In a ‘night at the track’, the Aurion Pace attracted a strong field of business people with deep pockets. The Endeavour Foundation is one of Australia’s largest non-government organisations, supporting and providing opportunities for people with a disability.

Aurion’s National Sales Manager, Paul MacRae, comments on his company’s support of the not-for-profit sector: “Aurion has a strong commitment to our clients in this sector and has sponsored several events during the past year.

“These events are great public relations exercises that foster a great deal of goodwill, and we look forward to repeating our support at the Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland’s coming Boardroom Blitz this year.”

While the not-for-profit organisations clearly appreciate Aurion’s sponsorships, they also like the company’s technology. Comments from current Aurion projects in the sector follow:

Greg Cuffe, Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland: "Aurion has proved itself to be the Payroll / HR system capability that Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland was looking for. It is a sophisticated and integrated system that delivers accurate payroll and HR data on demand to the end users and their managers. I particularly like the self service capability which allows our staff to check personal details, record timekeeping data and leave entitlements without having to log a thousand or so queries with pay office...........that is a fantastic capability and time saver."

Barry Sanders, Endeavour Foundation: "Our workforce management capability strategy has been supported by the introduction of an integrated HR/Payroll information system to Endeavour. Endeavour has chosen Aurion to achieve this. The automatic flow of time sheets from Self Service and native integration to payroll gives Endeavour benefits through consistent award interpretation. There are expected administrative gains through a single entry point for all payroll transactions. To date, the Aurion team has demonstrated professionalism and expertise throughout the implementation which enhances their existing relationship with Endeavour."

Blue Care implemented an Aurion last year. The organisation has standardised its payroll, rostering and human resources (HR) systems with a ‘best fit’ HR management information system (HRMIS).

About Aurion and its Time and Attendance Solution

Aurion's Time and Attendance (T&A) modules are fully integrated to Payroll reducing administration and integration to other systems. Aurion is a privately Australian owned software developer with the four founders and Business Management Limited as shareholders.

Aurion is an enterprise HRM solution with integrated Timesheets and advanced Award Interpretation.
Customers also benefit from a common self service portal for all HR functions and native integration with Aurion workflow and reporting tools. The result is reduced acquisition, implementation and ongoing operating costs. Labour hire customers integrate Time & Attendance with Aurion Customer Billing to provide a total solution.
