Epson EMP-1800 seriesThe new EMP-1810 and EMP-1815 projectors are designed for business and educational use. According to the vendor, the machines feature state-of-the-art technology and a brightness of 3500 ANSI Lumens - the brightest in their class. Epson's 3LCD technology, with no moving parts or interruptions to the light path, generates bright, natural images, and smooth and sharp playback of graphics, images and video content with no colour break-up. 3LCD projectors operate at lower lamp temperatures than other projection systems of similar brightness, allowing for quick start-up and shut down. Most importantly, the technology ensures the projector runs quieter with less fan noise. Both the EMP-1810 and EMP-1815 are easy to set-up and maintain. The lamp and filter can be replaced quickly even if the projector is ceiling mounted. The EMP-1800 series includes the Epson quick set-up feature. The user simply points the projector at the screen, presses a button and it will automatically resize the projected image to fit. As well as being compact and light, the EMP-1815 and EMP-1810 feature a modern white finish and look professional - whether they're installed on the ceiling or used by presenters on the move. The EMP-1815 also has an advanced multi-screen display - a world first for Epson projectors - which makes it possible to project different content on up to four projectors from a single laptop or PC wirelessly and by LAN. This allows supporting material to be displayed alongside a main presentation or for users to show two or more presentations simultaneously. Standalone operation is simple using the Compact Flash card slot or a memory device connected to the USB port. Files on the Compact Flash card can be edited and changed using network access from a laptop or PC.
