Microsoft CRM specialist opens southern office due to customer expansion

Microsoft integrator, Snapdragon Consulting, has opened a Melbourne branch and installed CRM professional, Mark Fowler, as its regional manager.

For the past five years, Sydney-based staff would fly down to consult on CRM projects as required. In preparation for the release of Microsoft Dynamics 3.0 last year, however, Snapdragon noted that it would soon be working with more complex projects in both markets.

"Travelling from Sydney worked when we were working with earlier versions of Microsoft CRM," Fowler said. "Now we're capturing 50 seat clients and above and they require a different kind of care."

Fowler's background includes roles at Moore Stephens Technology as a CRM business consultant and at Foodmach as a CRM administrator and state account manager.

"The first thing I want to do is to make sure existing clients are being looked after and to also answer a few tender responses we currently have," he said.

Fowler said its key customer base in the southern state was organisations in the financial, insurance and health sectors. The implementer also plans to launch a branch of its Sydney-based Microsoft CRM User Group out of its Melbourne office.
