Catering to the boom in camera-enabled mobile phones, Kodak has introduced a device to aid in wireless printing, the Easyshare Printer Dock. The dock can produce 6x4-inch prints transmitted using an infrared (IrDA) or Bluetooth connection. As many mobile phones do not include a flash, the dock also features an auto enhance option to correct underexposed shots. Users have the choice of printing one, two, four or nine images on each 6x4-inch sheet depending on whether the image is from a high-resolution digital camera or lower-resolution camera phone image. PictBridge technology for printing directly from other manufacturers' cameras is built-in as is an SD/MMC memory card slot. An optional external 8-in-1 memory card reader for using additional popular memory card formats and multi- function docking connector for Kodak EasyShare 600/6000 and 700/7000-series digital cameras are also included. The Easyshare Printer Dock is available now.
