IP communications vendor, Mitel, has appointed Essential Data & Voice as its third Australian Platinum Solution Provider partner.
As the highest level of partnership within Mitel's channel program, Essential Data & Voice will gain access to the vendor's full suite of voice and data network applications, additional support and training.
"Being a Mitel platinum partner not only grants us extra support and training, but it serves as an indicator to customers that the partner has the right skills and expertise to get the job done," Mitel national channel manager, Anne Wrencher, said. "One big advantage of going platinum is that Mitel will work hand-in-hand with the integrator to help land those bigger opportunities."
Wrencher said that at all other times Mitel sold through its distributors, Telstra Business Systems and Uptime Distribution.
To qualify for the platinum partner status, Essential Data & Voice had to demonstrate its ability to deliver high-level integration and 24-hour support of Mitel's converged voice and data network applications. It also needed to have at least two people trained in 24-hour support as well as four accredited network engineers who had undergone a two-week training course to support Mitel's 3300 IP Communications Platform which provides enterprises with a scalable communications system that can support up to 65,000 users.
"Our partnership with Mitel has been enormously successful, and has helped both our businesses to grow rapidly," Essential Data & Voice managing director, David Turnbull, said. "The training and support we receive from Mitel has helped us to improve our service offerings, and deliver valuable new business productivity solutions for our clients."
Mitel's other levels of accreditation include Authorised Reseller, Mitel Silver Solution Provider and Mitel Gold Solution Provider.
