Vignette Expands Global Alliance Program

<p>Alliances play integral role in enabling Vignette to deliver rich online customer experiences</p>
<p>SYDNEY, Australia — 16 May 2007 — Vignette today launched its expanded global alliance program designed to extend the value of its Next-Generation Web and Imaging and Workflow solutions. As part of the program, Vignette has set aggressive goals to better leverage its current alliances and more than double the amount of revenue generated through its alliance-based business by the end of 2007. The innovative approach allows Vignette to increase the overall ecosystem of alliances and extend the value to its customers through alliance services and solutions.</p>

<p>As an example of its commitment to strategic relationships, Vignette recently achieved Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program with Microsoft Competencies in both Networking Infrastructure Solutions and ISV Software Solutions. As a Gold Certified Partner, Vignette has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven ability to meet customers’ needs. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners receive a rich set of benefits, including access, training and support, giving them a competitive advantage in the channel.</p>
<p>Vignette currently counts more than 200 strategic alliances with hardware platform manufacturers, operating systems vendors, software developers, resellers, system integrators and service organisations.</p>

<p>Consulting Alliances</p>
<p>To better serve Vignette customers, Consulting Alliances provide expertise on overall strategy, business process design and analysis, integration and training, and vertical market expertise. BearingPoint, for example, has been working with Vignette for more than ten years.</p>

<p>To drive market share, Solution Alliances provide hardware, operating systems and network and storage solutions for Vignette customers. For instance, Sun Microsystems provides hardware and identity management software for Vignette’s Digital Services Hub solution, which enables organisations to manage and deliver rich multimedia content to any Web-enabled device through a single unified framework.</p>
