Vignette Expands ANZ Channel Sales Team

<p>AUSTRALIA, Sydney – 9 May 2007 - Vignette Corporation today announced the appointment of four new Channel Account Executives to its ANZ Channel Sales team hot on the heels of Dan Ode’s appointment as Strategic Alliance Manager in February 2007.</p>
<p>The new recruits include Avron Welgemoed, responsible for the Northern Region (NSW, QLD and NT); Peter Bartnik, responsible for the Southern Region (VIC, WA &amp; SA); Michael Dillon, responsible for the Public Sector nationally; and, Darin McKay, responsible for New Zealand.</p>
<p>Avron Welgemoed (Northern Region) brings a wealth of company experience and product knowledge to his new role, having already worked with Vignette for the last year as a Channel Sales Engineer. He has previously worked with Interwoven in the UK as the Presales &amp; Professional Services Manager for EMEA and at Mercury as the APM Practice Manager. Before this time, Avron was the founder of a technology consulting firm in South Africa.</p>
<p>Peter Bartnik (Southern Region) joins Vignette Corporation with over 20 years sales, marketing and management experience with multinational technology and telecommunications organisations. Prior to joining Vignette, Peter worked with Computer Associates (CA). Before this time, he provided consulting services to telecom, media and enterprise software customers in Australia and North America.</p>
<p>Armed with extensive experience in both government and marketing, Michael Dillon (Public Sector) will bring extensive expertise to his new role at Vignette. Michael has worked with organisations including Siebel, QAS and Filenet where he was responsible for managing relationships with the Government sector at both state and federal level.</p>
<p>Darin McKay (New Zealand) has worked with some of the leading names in the technology arena including Olivetti, Acer, BEA Systems, and most recently, New Zealand-based Capital Technology. With a passion for both solution and business development, Darin will be a great asset to the Vignette Channel Sales Team.</p>
