IT services group, Red Rock Consulting, has hired its first national sales manager to help grow its Oracle services offerings in vertical market segments.
Frances Grima's first point of focus is managing its nationwide team and refining its go-to market strategy.
Director, Jonathan Rubenzstein, said the role was created to ensure consistency of its sales team and that it had the necessary coverage across the region.
"We have a very comprehensive end-to-end service offering around the Oracle environment and her plans will be to make sure that our customers and prospects are aware of our comprehensive value proposition," he said.
She is also tasked with targeting specific industry verticals, including financial services, communication, media, utilities, government, education, health, manufacturing, retail and distribution.
"We are aligning our account directors around specific industry verticals and then our service offerings are very much aligned to those industry views," Rubenzstein said.
Red Rock was becoming very clear about the value propositions it offered to specific customers, he said.
"Customers are becoming a lot more sophisticated and they are demanding that the suppliers understand their requirements and responding appropriately," he said. "As our business grows, we need to make sure the way we go to market and our value proposition is consistent."
Prior to coming on-board, Grima held various senior sales roles with Oracle in the US.
