ASI lands first Coordimax sale

CRM solution helps client track relationships to provider better services

ASI Solutions has completed the first Australian sale for business applications vendor, Coordimax.

It worked with Ingram Micro's Solutions Group to complete the deal with SA-based industrial and mechanical services provider, Contract Resources. ASI will manage the installation and setup of the new CRM system.

Coordimax managing director, Marin O'Connor, said the system would help the client track interactions with customers and suppliers in one location. He said staff had previously used a variety of systems to manage emails, diaries and spreadsheets.

"It's very exciting and it is the start of what we have been planning for a while. This system can track relationships to provide better services to customers," he said. "It's not just a box or a router. It is something they will be running their business on."

O'Connor said the 10-user license sale was worth about $10,000.

"The difference between us and others on the market is that we have designed our product to fit across different industries. It is very customisable," O'Connor said.

ASI Solutions director, Maree Lowe, said it would provide maintenance and upgrade services as well as the opportunity to renew the licence.

"Even though the software has already been designed, there is a certain amount of customisation when you roll a software suite like this into any sort of business," she said. "At the moment, we've had two staff trained in SA. We're interested in Coordimax because our business there is all about services."
