Targus Chill Mat

The vendor claims this new device is a practical answer to the increasing problem of over-heating notebooks. The Chill Mat contains two fans that help to alleviate the problem, delivering cool air to the notebook. It is completely self-contained and requires no batteries to operate it. The device is powered by any available USB port and it is capable of delivering 36 cubic feet per minute of air. It has a noise level that is less than 23.3dB, making it virtually silent. It weighs in at only 0.57kg and measures 26.7 x 31.7 x 2.5cm. It also features four rubber feet to hold the notebook in place while the pad protects workspace surfaces. The device is covered by a 12-month warranty.

This is the vendor's first model to feature Windows Vista Home Premium Edition.
