IT Fund for Kids campaign kicks off

IT Fund for Kids has kicked off its 2007 Putting IT Back campaign and is anticipating it will be its biggest program yet.

This year's initiatives will include the launch of the Starlight Online Community, allowing seriously ill young people to create a personalised space on a secured site to help keep in touch with loved ones. The campaign also includes the Giant Steps Interaction Program and an extension of the Know IT All challenge to Melbourne.

This year, the fund aims to raise $500,000 to support the Starlight Children's Foundation and Giant Steps School. The online community and the Giant Steps' Interaction Program are aimed at helping children with autism learn and develop technology skills.

Organisations can get behind IT Fund for Kids and help raise money via the Connect Club by organising fun activities such as BBQs, raffl es and pamper nights. IT companies are also invited to participate in the Know IT All dinner challenge to be held in Sydney and Melbourne, by purchasing tables of 10. Tickets go on sale April 29. To register, visit:
