Out & About: Resellers hurled into ToughBook Challenge

Panasonic's top performing resellers were recently put to the test during the vendor's Toughbook Challenge.

The extreme event was hosted by world adventurer, Rex Pemberton, who led resellers abseiling down a six-storey building, go-kart racing and paintball. Pemberton is the youngest Australian to reach the Everest summit and has conquered seven of the highest peaks throughout seven continents. Taking the challenge up a notch, participants were teamed up and had to find their way to each event using a Panasonic Toughbook configured with GPS.

The event marked the start of the 2007 Formula 1 ING Grand Prix weekend. Over 40 Panasonic dealers and customers attended.

The vendor's top performing accredited resellers were The Laptop Company, Commander, SPX Australia, Roaming Technologies and ComputerCorp.

They were joined by key customers, including National Foods and Queensland Ambulance Services.
