Harris Technology has revamped its website to enhance online customer capabilities.
"We wanted to improve the overall experience of the site for our customers, and make it easier and faster for them to find what they need," Internet manager, Matthew Olney, said.
The improvements include a new and advanced navigation system, a keyword search engine as well as more comprehensive shopping cart and checkout.
This contains a new accessories feature allowing customers to purchase more than one item at a time. There's also a 'Did you mean' feature, which provides other search options for keywords that have no matches or that have been misspelt.
"The navigation system allows customers to search for products using wider selection criteria. If they are looking for a new notebook, they can now search by processor speed, installed memory or hard drive capacity," Olney said. The Harris website currently attracts 150,000 visitors per week.
