In an effort to get its channel partners versed in all things Vista and ease customer migration to the new Windows operating system, Altiris is offering free-of-charge education seminars via its website.
Its interactive Windows Vista migration education series includes a Vista migration eBook, an on-demand Web cast series and a live and interactive webcast and question and answer session with Altiris technical expert and system engineer, Chris Bowden.
The series will be complemented with hands-on technical workshops in Sydney on March 19, Melbourne on March 20, and Auckland on March 22.
Altiris channel manager, Craig Morrison, said it wanted to leverage its experience in more than 20 million operating system migrations to help its channel maximise the opportunity from Windows Vista migrations.
"Migration projects don't have be a headache. We are equipping resellers with the know-how they need to seamlessly migrate customers to Vista," he said. "These online sessions and workshops are all about incorporating best practises, methodologies and utilising the Altiris toolsets to ease customer migration to Vista."
