Fuji Xerox WorkCenter C2424

Designed for small office or workgroup environments, this colour multifunction printer, scanner and copier is based on solid, polymer-based ink instead of powdered toner. This has benefits such as energy efficiency, enhanced print quality and vibrant, true colours. The C2424 offers first-page-out speed at six seconds and prints up to 24 pages per minute (ppm). Standard features include automatic two-sided printing, collation and scan to server (with high security internal hard disk drive) and scan to PC. Most features can be used on the control panel or via the user friendly and intuitive graphical driver interface. It can manage multiple tasks and has security features that enable save-secureproof printing, and control access to scanned documents. It also features mobile services capabilities, allowing users to submit jobs at a remote location through the Internet.

Oki C5900

Aimed at medium to large workgroups or small business users, this MFP comes with 256MB RAM standard memory (768MB RAM max). Offering 26ppm colour and 32ppm mono, PCL and Postscript printing, paper capacity up to 930 sheets, a 60,000 page monthly duty cycle, it can also print on a range of media from business cards to 1.2m banners. ProQ2400 multi-level technology combined with high definition toner delivers enhanced print quality, while inbox software simplifies in-house printing and helps manage print resources. Bundled software includes Web Print which ensures Web pages are printed correctly; Photo Enhance which allows photo-like quality printing on ordinary office paper; and Template Manager which aids design and printing. An optional 40GB hard disk drive allows storage of files and password-protected secure-printing.

HP Colour LaserJet CM1015/1017

With integrated copying and scanning functionality, HP's new MFP series is ideal for small work-teams. It prints in colour and monochrome at 8ppm and features an easy-to-use control panel with 2.4-inch colour graphical display (on the CM1017 model) and a two-line monochrome LCD panel (on the CM1015 model). The series requires four consumables, making it easy to use and maintain. The HP ColorSphere toner included has enhanced melting and fusing features, enabling optimum toner release and better flow onto the page for more consistent colour, higher resolution and a 40 per cent increase in gloss levels. It also features a photo memory card slot, and allows users to send scanned documents (such as manuals and reports) directly to the desktop or an email address. Users can also send scanned documents to a network drive for easy archiving.

Epson Stylus CX5700F

Ideal for the home and small office, this inkjet multifunction printer features fast photo printing speeds, improved photo quality on glossy photo papers, and an inbuilt memory card reader and colour fax. It uses durabrite ultra pigment ink which increases the durability of prints, making them smudge and water resistant. It has an inbuilt fax with a 33.6Kbps modem for immediate transmission, and supports the international colour fax standard for colour-tocolour communication. It prints 6 x 4-inch border free photos in 51 seconds, and can print at up to 20ppm (A4 pages per minute) in monochrome and 19ppm A4 size in colour.

Konica Minolta magicolor 7450

The large format colour laser printer combines processing capabilities, enhanced print quality and versatile media handling. Built for high-volume applications and output, it creates a range of business and marketing materials on demand. An automatic duplexer and banner tray are available. The standard 350-sheet paper capacity can be increased to a maximum of 1850 sheets with up to three optional 500-sheet cassettes. Combining the features of a 733MHz processor and 256MB of memory, the printer delivers its first page out in 9.5 seconds in monochrome and 11.5 seconds in colour.
