Local systems integrator Ice Systems has partnered with security vendor TrustDefender to provide e-buisness transaction verification for its customers.
Ice Systems works with Australian and Singapore-based government, finance and SME to develop security, storage and network architectures, and has been discussing the partnership for the past two months, with the deal announced last week.
Ice Systems general manager Richard Metcalfe said it is in the process of securing customer contracts and has trained staff on the solution.
"Instead of using authentication tokens, virtual keyboards and the like, TrustDefender checks that the device that is engaged in the transaction is secure," Metcalfe said.
"We were seeing a reduction in consumer confidence in relation to using online solutions due to the rising sophistication, volume and awareness of fraudulent attacks.
"It is the only solution of its kind on the market and I expect a good response from customers towards it."
Ice Systems is the third TrustDefendor partner in Australia along with IT services company EDS solutions and security provider SecureServ.
TrustDefendor has also signed oil, finance, gas and government supplier contracts in Indonesia and two in the United Arab Emirates.
