IT services outfit, Tripoint, is handing over more than $250,000 in annual support to cancer charity, CanTeen. It will offer a fully managed service, infrastructure upgrades and advice.
The services are aimed at maximising the charity's capability to deliver services and support to about 2500 young people living with cancer each year. Tripoint started working with CanTeen in 2005, providing them with project work in relation to purchasing, building and deploying laptops and desktops.
"Tripoint has supported CanTeen for a number of years because several people in our team have had family members who have been affected by this insidious disease.
"Backing CanTeen is very close to all our hearts and we are delighted to be able to help," Tripoint director, Mark Jobbins, said.
"We are aiming to enable CanTeen to enjoy all the advantages that a corporate client achieves and realise its key objective of improving the lives of young people with cancer."
