Global Investment Firm Babcock & Brown Selects Fortinet Security Solution

<p>Fortinet® – the pioneer and leading provider of unified threat management (UTM) solutions – today announced that Babcock and Brown, a global investment and advisory firm that manages more than $30 billion in assets, has purchased and will deploy Fortinet’s FortiGate™ multi-threat security systems to secure more than 1,100 users throughout its offices worldwide.</p>
<p>Babcock &amp; Brown operates from 26 offices across Australia, North America, Europe, Asia, United Arab Emirates and Africa, and has five operating divisions including real estate, infrastructure and project finance, operating leasing, structured finance and corporate finance. The company chose Fortinet’s security platform to replace its existing Cisco firewall infrastructure based on the integration of key security functions – specifically firewall, antivirus, intrusion prevention (IPS) and Web content filtering – along with superior performance and scalability that the systems provide.</p>
