<p>gotalk CEO Steve Picton said that ADSL2+ is the next generation broadband which delivers download speeds up to 80 times faster than standard 256k broadband. Users can experience speeds up to 20000 kbps / 800 kbps (depending on the location and hardware).</p>

<p>VoIP requires much higher bandwidth as it is real-time sensitive. QoS (Quality of Service) uses intelligence to detect and prioritize bandwidth-sensitive packets (such as VoIP) so that they can be sent over the Internet as soon as the request is made. This results in faster processing of real-time based packets, less latency, and a better user experience.</p>

<p>Prior to forming TELECORP LIMITED (gotalk) in March 2000 with high profile telecommunications duo Trevor Rowe, ASX Director, Chancellor of Bond University and Chairman, Investment Banking , NM Rothschild & Sons, Australia; and Vern Wills, Chairman of Enhance Management, Mr Stephen Picton was Group Director, Strategic Development, AAPT.
