Trend Micro InterScan Gateway Security Appliance

Designed for SMB organisations looking for an easy to install, easy to maintain content security solution, the all-in-one secure content management appliance incorporates antivirus, anti-spyware, anti-spam, content filtering and URL filtering. The appliance supports employee productivity and includes an anti-bot functionality to help prevent internal PCs from becoming zombies. It provides ease-of-use with simplified installation through preconfigured software and hardware.The appliance also has heuristic detection technology and automated, remote cleanup capabilities, and enables organisations to enforce their gateway content security with a single product. There is a choice of six appliances, with model licensing upgrades requiring no hardware changes. Kaspersky for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003

The software protects users of corporate mail systems from viruses and spam, and can be centrally administrated. It provides scanning of incoming and outgoing messages and mail stored on the server as well as messages in shared folders. Kaspersky Security for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 can track virus activity to isolate the source of an epidemic, so that the administrator can take effective measures. Workshare Protect Enterprise Suite

Comprised of three components, the endpoint and network-level outbound content security solution reduces the leakage of privacy, financial and confidential information over multiple channels and file types. It delivers the complete ABC's of outbound content security: alerting users of violations, blocking where necessary, and curing the problem when appropriate. It alerts users to potentially embarrassing, regulated or confidential content leaks before they happen, cures risky content when appropriate, and blocks only when necessary. It also encrypts outbound information and applies content rights. Designed to help organisations manage risks associated with portable storage devices on the corporate network, the software provides IT managers with complete control of all attempted device connections and fi le transfers. The USB endpoint security software includes the ability to audit data being transferred from company networks onto devices, and eases the setting of time-restricted access in exceptional circumstances and boasts a new graphical interface. It allows administrators to grant temporary access rights associated with portable storage devices. The file access auditing automatically logs the names of accessed files, access type (read/write/ rename/delete), date and time of access, the name of the person accessing the information, the process for accessing the information (e.g. notepad.exe or explorer.exe), and whether the attempt was blocked or allowed. Clearswift MIMEsweeper SMTP Appliance

Complete email security in a box, the appliance incorporates antivirus by Kaspersky, Clearswift SpamLogic anti-spam and intelligent MIMEsweeper content filtering. It blocks all incoming and outgoing email threats, and requires no specialist knowledge. Key to the appliance is the addition of Personal Message Manager (PMM), which allows users to manage their emails by giving simple access to appropriate quarantine areas and the ability to release any legitimate emails from there. It has new TLS encryption to allow secure communication with trusted third parties without the need for complex encryption systems. Additional enhancements include a new version of Clearswift's SpamLogic technology, which provides users with a comprehensive array of defences against spam to deliver accuracy rates of more than 99 per cent.
