Local HP ISVs are being given the opportunity to work with like-minded partners across the region under the vendor's new Elite Club program. ISV business development manager, Gareth Sutton, said it was designed to help local ISVs further drive growth beyond the local market. The program offers technical, networking, business planning and marketing support as well as access to solution centres, developers, product managers and presales staff.
The vendor will also fund activities allowing Elite Club members to network with other HP partners across the Asia-Pacific region.
Membership to the program will be limited to 10 ISVs. Current signups are IBA Health, Infomaster, iSheriff, TechnologyOne and Tier-3. Partners selected to join the club need to have customer experience in the local market, particularly within the health care and security sector, developed applications based on HP Integrity server platform, and the ability to grow further.
One of the benefits of being an Elite Club member was access to HP's network of partners globally, Tier-3 CEO, Peter Woollacott, said.
The club would also allow Tier-3 to work more closely with HP on accessing common customers that have an interest in both technology sets.
"In turn we provided HP with a capability they don't have with our Huntsman technology and they are providing us with a brand," Woollacott said.
