QAS taps growth through channel

New QAS recruit hunts for more partners in new markets

New national manager for QAS, Matthew Glasner, plans to realign its channel onto broader markets to increase sales of its address management software.

Glasner replaces Bryn Hughes in the role. He has been with QAS for about four years and was previously northern region sales manager. That role will be taken up by Andrew Smith.

Glasner said he was keen to solidify the company's sales team and focus on growing the business. This would include restructuring its channel business to focus on markets left open by its direct sales team.

"Our teams are fairly vertically focused. We do a lot of work in banking, finance, government, utilities and telco, which leaves a lot of room for channel partners to facilitate sales into other markets that have a requirement for quality address and data information," he said.

Glasner hoped to recruit partners with an interest in local government, health care and education. QAS currently has about 20 resellers.

"Some of those markets, such as local government, have a defined number of software vendors who sell into that space. Through partnership, we could expand our offering," he said. "Our customer numbers have grown in excess of 500 locally and being a renewals business, it is important for us to focus on customer support and growth."
