Wyse Again Celebrates Clear Leadership in Thin Computing in Australia and APAC

<p>Thin Computing Market in Australia Forecast to Grow at a CAGR of 17% from 2005 to 2010 Due to New Streaming and Virtualisation Deployments</p>
<p>Sydney, Australia – February 9, 2007 - Wyse Technology, the global leader in thin computing, continues to hold the leading market share for thin client sales in Australia and Asia according to a report published by IDC ("Special Study, Asia/Pacific(Including Japan) Thin Client Market 2005-2010 Analysis and Forecast”). With the thin-client category growing at over 61% in 2005 in Asia/Pacific, clearly the value proposition of improved security, lower management costs, and better ROI is resonating with IT managers who are choosing a thin-computing architecture over traditional desktop PCs.</p>
<p>Wyse remains the APAC market-share leader in 2005. Wyse leads with 73% market share in Australia, 55% in New Zealand, and 35% overall in Asia/Pacific including Japan. Given the ever-rising management costs and the need to comply with regulatory guidelines, IT organisations are being pushed to have greater control over their desktops.</p>
<p>The Wyse thin-computing solution, with its industry-leading thin clients, management and deployment software suite, allows IT managers to easily deploy thin clients and devices throughout their organisations.</p>

<p>The report also showed Wyse has established strong relationships with channel partners in each country, and forecast that Thin Client computing would grow at a rate of at least 34% each year to 2010 across the region.</p>
