Dubbo-based reseller, Axxis Technology, was crowned Small Business Champion of Information Technology at a recent gala awards ceremony at Star City Casino in Sydney. This is the third time it has won the award in four years.
The Champion of Champions Small Business Awards honours the achievements of small businesses across NSW and the ACT. The event encompasses 28 categories ranging from automotive to wedding services.
"When the Champions judges evaluate a submission, they are looking at all aspects of a winning business including strategies, customer service, vision, support of the local community and growth," managing director of the Award Presenters Precedent Productions, Steve Loe, said. "It's not always about money. There are many small business owners who will never be millionaires, but whose contribution is invaluable." Axxis' Amanda Holyoake was on-hand to accept the trophy. "It was a great honour to represent a business in regional NSW winning an award against the best IT businesses from across NSW and the ACT," she said.
Awards sponsors include The Commonwealth Bank, MYOB, CPA Australia, the Department of State and Regional Development and Fairfax Community Newspapers.
