Balancing network security with the operational demands upon IT can be tricky. Not only can the integration of ‘point products’ from many vendors create a massive technical challenge, there is an increased demand for compliance, governance and accountability. Constantly changing threats to our systems and networks from the Internet (and from within) mean that managing a secure network, which is open for business, is a difficult job.

Cisco Systems has a way forward - the Self Defending Network. The Cisco Self Defending Network is a strategy for building a network that has integrated security, is able to make collaborative use of your existing assets and is adaptable to new threats.

Presented by Bruce Munro, Security Channel Manager at Cisco Systems, this free Alphawest MegaBite session will explain these concepts and the components that make up the Cisco Self Defending Network. The session will be particularly relevant for IT Managers and Information Security professionals.
