VoIP provider, ISPhone Australasia, has brought on two new recruits in the roles of senior channel sales manager and accounts manager.
Greg Brodie, who has taken up the newly created senior channel position, joined ISPhone three weeks ago. He will oversee the development of new business opportunities, expansion of the sales team and channel partner recruitment.
"I'm here to pollinate our business in the SME space," he said. "I'll be working closely with the sales team and focusing on getting out to the channel and developing new relationships."
Brodie said future channel plans would take a "hands-on" approach and involve expanding the sales team across all Australian states.
"We're a small flexible group but we're trying to cover the whole of Australia and New Zealand with our offerings," he said. "The biggest challenge for us is communicating with our customers because it's not always possible to be with them."
Brodie's resume includes stints with TPG Networking Group, Volante Systems, Allied Technologies and NetStar Australia. His most recent role involved developing channel strategies for VoIP vendor and distributor, Splicecom.
He will work in conjunction with fellow new appointee, David Sokolovic, who has taken up the account manager role. Sokolovic will work with resellers and assist them in VoIP deployments, support and training.
