NetLeverage and software distributor, Open Channel Solutions, have partnered to deliver a channel program for resellers interested in deploying application virtualisation technologies.
The first formal program between OCS and NetLeverage will involve a one to two-day training course in which resellers participate in technical training and lead generation exercises to attain Gold or Platinum certification. The varying levels of certification equate to higher margins on sales. Training will commence in Q1 next year.
NetLeverage CEO, Steven Hasani, said the program would attract large resellers which dealt with corporates involved in service-based computing.
"At this first stage, we are looking to OCS to pick up resellers for each capital city and then focus our energy educating them and helping them understand the technology of application virtualisation which is really the next wave after server virtualisation," he said.
OCS managing director, Con Fiamegos, said the distributor would aim for one or two premium-end resellers in each capital city but would not set limits for any other interested partners.
"If more resellers want to get on board, then great. But we really want to target resellers who are very serious about thin client virtualisation and application delivery," he said.
NetLeverage specialises in developing and delivery of networked application virtualisation, acceleration and security through its plug and play device, ThinPoint.
