Hosted VoIP wholesaler, ValueNet, has boosted its channel support team with three new recruits.
Thyra Whitty has been appointed as the company's new service delivery manager, Sam Chan joins as senior network engineer and Nina Jurjevic will oversee product management and marketing.
ValueNet national manager of strategic partners, David Healy, said the new roles were created to help the business focus on service delivery and to streamline channel operations with its partners.
"As we continue to bring customers onto our network, delivery and support of the customer is paramount," he said. "It's great to have our robust network of partners, but ultimately delivery to our partners is just as important."
Whitty, formerly of Nextgen Networks, will work with ValueNet's channel partners to ensure efficient delivery of the company's hosted IP services. Chan will focus on managing network projects. Jurjevic, whose last role was with Deutsche Telekom, will concentrate on product development and marketing activity.
ValueNet had 12 channel partners but was looking for more integrators with experience in voice and data, Healy said.
He hoped the new appointments would assist ValueNet to identify new channel opportunities, as well as foster better relationships with partners to ensure they stay on board for the long term.
"We're very conscious of getting the appointments absolutely right," Healy said. "We've spent a lot of time to ensure our new recruits have good pedigree and bring strong experience to the business."
