RSA Strengthens Melbourne Senior Management Team with the Addition of Two New Employees

<p>RSA, The Security Division of EMC, has strengthened its Melbourne team with the appointment of Sonya Walker as Regional Manager and E-Yang Tang as Senior Sales Engineer. These appointments are effective immediately.</p>
<p>Sonya Walker joins RSA with over 12 years’ experience in the IT industry. In her new role, Sonya will be responsible for proactive growth in sales with particular focus in WA, SA, Victoria, Tasmania and ACT.</p>
<p>Prior to joining RSA, Sonya was Southern Regional Manager at FrontRange Solutions. She was also the founder and president of Benchmark Professionals, a US-based strategic management consultancy specialising in the commercialisation of US and Australian ICT businesses. In addition, Sonya was National Business Development Manager across ANZ at Progress Software, a NAXDAQ-listed developer of service-oriented architecture (SOA) business software.</p>
<p>“Sonya brings to RSA experience from numerous government and corporate advisory roles across the infrastructure, telecommunications, finance and technology industries,” said Mark Pullen, Country Manager, RSA. “Sonya is also founder of Victoria.NET, an ICT industry initiative designed to promote awareness and establish Victoria as a hub for Microsoft.NET and SML web services development.”</p>
<p>Sonja holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Bachelor of Science (Honours), of The University Melbourne, and a Masters of Applied Science, University of Western Sydney. She also holds postgraduate qualifications in Strategic Human Resource Management from Deakin University.</p>
<p>E-Yang Tang joins RSA with 10years of IT industry experience. “In his new role, E-Yang will be responsible for supporting and facilitating the closure of new business opportunities on a technical level,” concluded Mark.</p>
<p>Just before E-Yang joined RSA he was appointed as a Channel Manager in the Asia region for ManageSoft Corporation. Prior to that he was a Senior IT Consultant where he was responsible for providing consultative services on a pre-sales level for about six years where he specialised in enterprise OS deployment, software management and asset managements tools.</p>
<p>E-Yang completed a First Class Honours degree in Network Security at Monash University. He also has a published a paper (“PKI Services for a SmartCampus Network”) at the PKC2000 Conference in Melbourne.</p>
