Anyware adds vendors, improves old website

On the back of launching a new website, Anyware Computer Accessories has added two new vendors to the fold - Taiwanese-based MetStyle and Korean-based MobiBLU.

The Victorian distributor will offer MetStyle's range of women's notebook cases and accessories as well as MobiBLU's range of small, cube-shaped MP3 players.

Managing director, Garrison Huang, said market demand for women's notebook cases inspired him to launch the MetStyle range locally.

"We see a trend in the market for this type of product and it is a good addition because notebook sales are constantly increasing," he said. "MobiBLU offers an alternative to mainstream brands."

Huang hopes the products will be attractive to computer resellers and mass merchants. Partners will be supplied with marketing materials and product training.

Anyware is also updating its website. New features include a more comprehensive search tool, stock availability, account management, order status and invoice history.

"Our old site was based on old technology and it had been a problem for us," Huang said. "Previously, customers would have to ring up to check the availability of stock. One of the main complaints we had was that it was hard to find products on our website. We hope the new search facility will address this issue."
