RSA bolsters Melbourne team with new recruits

RSA Security has taken on two staff members to boost sales and expertise in the southern part of the country.

The vendor has hired Sonya Walker as a regional manager and E-Yang Tang as senior sales engineer to work out of its Melbourne office.

Walker, previously a regional manager at FrontRange Solutions, will be responsible for growing sales in WA, SA, Victoria, Tasmania and the ACT. She said her focus would be generating revenue in government and vertical industries; and increasing channel development.

"I want to work with the channel in a positive and focused way to achieve success," she said.

RSA, which is being acquired by EMC for $US2.1 billion, has long-time relationships with partners such as Dimension Data and Alphawest.

Tang, who was previously channel manager for ManageSoft Corporation Asia, will work alongside Walker in closing business sales and high-end technical support.
